Teresa Jill Herrington
Passed away on December 21, 2023
Teresa Jill Herrington, age 68, of Port Wentworth passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023.
Ms. Herrington was born on October 14, 1955 in Savannah to the late Dilburn Herrington and the late Dicy Elizabeth Mikell Herrington. She was a sister to the late Keith Herrington. Teresa (Teri) graduated from Johnson High School in 1974 and went on to work in the shipping industry.
Teri Herrington loved spending time on the water. She enjoyed boating and camping with family and friends. She was very talented with crafts, sewing, embroidery and quilting. She was a devoted partner to the late Randall Hodges. She was a loving Aunt to her niece and nephew, Stacey and Chris, who she cared for as her own children. She adored her great niece and nephew, Ava and Brooks, who always put a smile on her face when they were around.
Survivors include her nephew, Chris Herrington (Tracy) and niece Stacey Albright (John); great nephew and niece, Brooks & Ava Albright.
Graveside interment of ashes will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
